YORK COUNTY, SC — A tractor-trailer overturned Monday morning on Interstate 77 in southeast Rock Hill, according to WCNC Charlotte.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes approaching Exit 75 toward Porter Road and was first reported at about 7:30 a.m.
Preliminary details indicate the semi-truck was involved in a collision with two passenger cars, but no information about the involved parties or potential injuries were immediately released.
All southbound traffic was re-routed onto Anderson Road as the South Carolina Highway Patrol and York County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene. Even after two lanes were reopened, significant delays were reported in the area.
