Motorcyclist loses life after hitting semi at Anderson intersection 

ANDERSON, SC – A man operating a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle lost his life after he struck a 2000 Freightliner semi-truck turning from Estes Drive onto Belton-Anderson Highway last Friday, Jan. 17.

The crash took place at 4 p.m., reports FOXCarolina. After arriving, Anderson County Coroner’s Office declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. They have since identified him as 45-year-old Dale Vance Suttles, Jr.

Authorities confirmed the truck driver was unharmed. However, what they did not specify was if the motorist was going to be cited or face criminal charges for their involvement in the wreck.
