ANDERSON, SC – A 79-year-old man was killed following a pin-in truck collision that happened on Blumefield Road Thursday night, according to FoxCarolina.
Preliminary details from the Anderson County Coroner’s Office revealed that the man was driving his truck and pulled up to an area to park. The man exited his vehicle and forgot to put his vehicle in park, which propelled his vehicle forward. The man tried to stop his vehicle from moving further and got pinned underneath when it crashed into a tree.
The driver died from his injuries at the scene. He has since been identified as Steven Franklin Mathis.
