FORT MILL, SC – Local fire crews and South Carolina Highway Patrol were summoned to an Amazon truck fire that happened on I-77 North last Wednesday, March 12.
WCNC said the incident happened near the South Carolina and North Carolina state lines. After arriving, crews closed at least one lane to accommodate the scene clearance procedure.
Authorities reopened one lane after 6 p.m.
Officials did not say if the fire resulted from mechanical issues or from a crash or were able to confirm if anyone was hurt.
