GREENVILLE, SC – First responders took one person from a fire rescue truck to a hospital after the truck they were in caught on fire upon colliding with a train Sunday.
This crash took place around 5:15 p.m. at the Church Street and Kerns Avenue junction, according to WYFF4.
The injured person is recovering from non-life-threatening wounds, while the two other fire rescue truck occupants were unscathed.
South Carolina Highway Patrol and CSX started an investigation and have not provided additional details at this time.
