Semi-truck crash shuts down Harrisburg’s 13th St. overpass

HARRISBURG, PA – Transportation workers had to shut down the 13th Street overpass for over two hours on Friday due to a semi-truck accident. 

The truck driver crashed into the overpass around 4 a.m., and the impact left the truck hanging slightly over the bridge, according to WGAL. Officials immediately closed the area and reopened all lanes around 6:30 a.m. 

No injuries were reported. 

Authorities have not specified the exact cause of the collision.
