UPPER PROVIDENCE TWP., PA – A tanker carrying diesel fuel overturned in the northbound lanes of the Route 1 Bypass in Delaware County Monday morning, 6abc reports.
According to officials, the accident, which happened around 9 am, resulted in the tanker spilling roughly 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel onto the road. No injuries have been reported.
The roadway is expected to be closed until around 6 pm as the hazardous materials are cleaned up.
