3 dead after head-on collision with semi-truck in Pennsylvania’s Franklin Co.

GREENE TWP, PA – Three people were killed yesterday morning when their vehicle collided head-on with a semi truck, WGAL reports.

Authorities say that the crash took place in the 6500 block of Molly Pitcher Highway/U.S. 11 at about 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5. A 2006 Lincoln sedan crossed the center divider and struck an oncoming semi-truck, resulting in the deaths of the sedan’s three occupants. They have been identified as 47-year-old Saintanie Jean Baptiste, the driver, and passengers Jodelens Joseph (42) and Claire Elveus (30).

The truck’s driver was unhurt in the crash, which shut down traffic in the area for several hours.

It is unclear whether this accident is related to the one reported in nearby Chambersburg yesterday.
