Semi Truck Accident Closes Down Ohio Interstate

MORAINE, OH – A semi-truck drove off a bridge into a creek on northbound I-75 early Monday morning, causing a potential hazardous materials leak, WHIO reports.

According to authorities, the accident occurred near East Dixie Drive around 12:35 am. Both directions of I-75 were closed down while crews extracted the semi from the water. Hazmat crews were also called to the scene for a possible diesel leak.

Details on injuries are not currently available.
