WEST LIBERTY, OH – Two truck drivers were hurt Wednesday in a crash involving two semi-trucks on the north side of West Liberty, reports WHIO 7.
Shortly after 1 p.m., emergency crews responded to US-68, or Zanesfield Road, and County Road 5, which is west of the Mad River and northeast of the Adriel School.
Police say that a northbound 18-wheeler, driven by a 50-year-0ld Alger man, rear-ended another semi that was stopped to turn onto County Road 5.
Medics airlifted the driver of the rear semi to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The other driver went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
