CINCINNATI, OH – One person was killed and two others were injured when a semi-truck slammed into a broken-down vehicle on Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway Monday afternoon, FOX19 reports.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred on the right shoulder of eastbound SR126 just before 12:30 pm. A 2018 Lexus was parked on the side of the road with a flat tire when the semi-truck crashed into it.
The occupants of the Lexus, a 76-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman, were taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where the man later died of his injuries. The truck driver was transported to the same hospital with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
