One Dead, Two Injured in Ohio Semi-Truck Rollover

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, OH – A rollover accident on State Route 172 involving a semi-truck killed one person and injured two others on Saturday night, WFMJ reports.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident occured near Zepernick Lake in West Township around 8:00 pm. The semi-truck overcorrected after veering off the road and collided with a Ford Bronce traveling in the opposite direction. Both vehicles exited the road and flipped over.

The driver of the Bronco was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the Bronco and the semi-truck driver were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
