Ohio Trucker Falls Asleep Behind Wheel, Causes Multi-Vehicle Crash

MIAMI COUNTY, OH – A semi-truck driver crashed into multiple vehicles on I-75 after reportedly falling asleep at the wheel Tuesday morning, WHIO reports.

According to authorities, the accident occurred on the on-ramp of northbound I-75 near State Route 571 around 5:39 am. The semi driver reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel and struck a disabled vehicle. The driver then swerved onto the shoulder of the on-ramp, striking another semi-truck.

No injuries have been reported.
