Injuries reported in T-bone crash at Kemp Rd, Ohio 309

ALLEN CO., OH – A two-vehicle collision involving a car and a semi-truck seriously injured one person on Saturday afternoon, reports WANE 15.

The accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m.at the intersection of North Kemp Road and OH-309, which is just northwest of Elida.

Police say that an eastbound big rig T-boned a northbound car when the driver of the latter vehicle failed to heed right of way at the red light.

Medics transported the unrestrained 18-year-old driver of the passenger vehicle to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The truck driver did not sustain injuries in the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
