DURHAM, NC – North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the details behind a multi-vehicle crash that caused a log truck to flip over in Durham Thursday.
According to ABC 11, the crash happened before 9 a.m. and involved five other vehicles, one of which was also overturned. Troopers and transportation crews immediately shut down all of the southbound lanes after arriving. During the closures, authorities used the time to remove the logs from the road and stabilize the truck.
Since then, officials have reopened all lanes.
The contributing factors behind the accident continue to remain unclear. However, authorities were able to confirm that no one was seriously injured or suffered fatal injuries.
