DURHAM, NC- A major collision involving multiple semi-trucks shut down I-40 in Durham early Tuesday.
According to a report by WRAL, the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-40, just east of the NC-751 overpass at about 4:44 p.m.
A total of 32 vehicles were involved in the crash. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported as a result.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are unclear. However, investigators believe storms in the area may have been a factor.
