Multiple Injuries in North Carolina Multi-Vehicle Collision Involving Two Tractor-Trailers

CRAVEN COUNTY, NC – Two people were hospitalized after a four-vehicle collision involving multiple semi-trucks on US Highway 17 on Wednesday afternoon, News 12 reports.

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at the intersection of Weyerhaeuser Road/NC 43 and US Highway 17 just after 3 pm. It involved an 18-wheeler beer truck, an 18-wheeler log truck, a crane truck, and a pickup.

Video footage shows the beer truck turning right into a closed lane, forcing the crane truck to overturn and collide with the log truck and the pickup.

The drivers of the log truck and the pickup were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
