IREDELL COUNTY, NC – Four people suffered injuries when a box truck driver had lost control of the truck, leading them to crash into a wall on I-77 South Wednesday.
This collision happened before 3:30 p.m. near Langtree Road, WBTV reported. After the truck hit the wall, approximately 30 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto the road, resulting in lane closures for around two hours.
North Carolina State Highway Patrol, who were called to the scene, have not confirmed if the wounded occupants were taken to a hospital.
