Big rig overturns after driver fails to negotiate curve in Eden

EDEN, NC – First responders airlifted a tractor-trailer driver to a hospital after he did not negotiate a curve on NC 770 East, leading it to go off the road and overturn Friday.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol said they arrived before 8 a.m. and came to find that the 2016 International flatbed semi-trailer was completely on its roof, MyFox8 revealed.

The driver, who was only identified as a 56-year-old man from Stuart, Virginia, was last listed in serious condition. Officials have not confirmed his current condition nor revealed the reason behind why he missed the curve.
