Authorities investigate big rig, tree crash in Gastonia 

GASTONIA, NC – Gastonia Police and North Carolina State Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances behind a Friday morning tree and big rig collision.

This collision took place on I-85 South, QC News said. Immediately after officers and troopers arrived, they had to close the interstate near Exit 19 for the scene clearance and investigation process. During these closures, drivers were advised to get off at the ramp leading toward East Ozark Avenue.
