BRUNSWICK CO., NC – Traffic was halted on US-17 following a three-vehicle collision involving a box truck northeast of Wilmington last Wednesday, September 27th.
According to a report by WECT, the crash occurred at about 11:42 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway near the NC-133 interchange.
Troopers say two vehicles collided, one of which struck a box truck. The tuck then veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
The total number of those injured in the crash are unclear at this time. However, none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
