1 dies following fire engine truck, motorcycle accident in Durham 

DURHAM, NC – One person lost their life to a collision between a fire engine truck and a motorcycle that happened Sunday, CBS17 said. 

The two-vehicle crash occurred after 10 a.m. at the intersection of T.W. Alexander Drive and N.C. Highway 54. After arriving at the scene, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol closed off a portion of the intersection with yellow tape. 

At the time of the reporting, closures were expected to last around 5:40 p.m. 

Troopers have not confirmed how the crash unfolded or released the victim’s name.
