DURANT, MS – A 47-year-old man was killed after he crashed his 18-wheeler into several trees off I-55 south of Holmes County State Park Wednesday.
The 18-wheeler accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on the southbound lanes near mile marker 150, according to Delta News TV.
The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. He has since been identified as Michael K. Ferguson from Houston, Mississippi.
Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the details behind the deadly collision.
