Serious injuries reported in semi crash on MI-52 in Webberville

WEBBERVILLE, MI – A Stockbridge man was hurt Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in Ingham County, Michigan.

According to WILX 10, emergency crews responded to a wrong-way crash on MI-52 near Dennis Road East in the southern outskirts of Webberville, about 24 miles southeast of Lansing.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a northbound car entered the southbound side of the highway and collided head-on into a southbound 18-wheeler.

Medics transported the 31-year-old driver of the car to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The truck driver did not required hospitalization.

A full investigation is underway.
