Semi Truck Jackknifes on US-127 in Ingham County, MI, Causes Second Semi to Crash

INGHAM COUNTY, MI – Heavy snow caused a semi truck to jackknife into the median on US-127 on Wednesday morning, leading to another semi crash, WILX reports.

According to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, the initial wreck occurred on southbound US-127 south of Bellevue Road in Leslie Township around 10:50 am.

About 30 minutes later, as crews responded to the accident, another semi driver lost control amid the traffic backup and ran off the road.

The southbound lanes of US-127 were shut down for several hours. No injuries have been reported.
