STERLING HEIGHTS, MI – A woman was killed in a collision with a semi truck at a Mound Road intersection on Saturday night, ClickOnDetroit reports.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Mound Road and Sterling Drive South around 11:45 pm when a Chevrolet Malibu collided with the rear of the semi truck at a red light.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 30-year-old woman from Warren, was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was uninjured.
The accident is under investigation.
