State Police, deputies called to big rig rollover crash in Livingston

LIVINGSTON, LA – Louisiana State Police and Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were summoned to a big rig rollover crash on I-12 Tuesday.

WBRZ said the collision took place between Livingston and Holden. Preliminary details suggest the truck flipped over after colliding with another vehicle. Despite the severity of the wreck, every occupant was spared from injuries.

Officials shut down all westbound lanes to unload the truck’s goods and for standard scene clearance practices. During the closures, commuters were encouraged to take LA 441 North, connecting to U.S. 190 West, or seek other alternative routes.
