ARCADIA, LA – Local police were summoned to a collision between a big rig and a train that happened at Hazel Street and Railroad Avenue Thursday morning.
Police told KSLA that the crash happened when the big rig had reportedly gotten stuck on the railroad tracks. The truck stayed disabled and was struck by the train. The truck driver was able to escape his vehicle prior to the impact of the wreck.
Officers have not confirmed any serious injuries at this time.
