CALCASIEU PARISH, LA – A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer in Calcasieu Parish claimed the life of a Gueydan man on Tuesday.
According to a report by KPLC, the crash occurred at their intersection of LA-14 and Harrington Road at about 2 p.m.
Troopers say a 2015 Dodge pickup heading east on LA-14 crossed into the oncoming lanes and collided with a westbound Peterbilt grain hauler.
The driver of the Dodge, 41-year-old Robert Allen Elliott, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The truck’s driver was reportedly unhurt.
