PLYMOUTH, IN – A man died in a collision with a semi-truck at a US-30 intersection on Tuesday morning, WSBT reports.
The accident occurred at the intersection of US-30 and Queen Road just after 8:30 am. A pickup truck was headed south on Queen Road when the westbound semi blew a red light and crashed into it.
The 77-year-old driver of the pickup was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital where he later died. His passenger, a 20-year-old woman, was airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
