DETROIT, MI – I-75 in Detroit was closed for several hours after whiteout conditions caused dozens of collisions on Monday afternoon, FOX 2 Detroit reports.
A stretch of I-75 north of McNichols was the site of around 25 separate accidents, one of which involved a passenger vehicle becoming pinned beneath a semi-trailer.
The collisions caused major delays on I-75 until around 4 pm. It’s unclear whether any injuries occurred.
