MONROE CENTER, IL – A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi injured a Rockford man on Monday in Ogle County, Illinois, reports WIFR.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle accident at IL-72 and North Mulford Road in Monroe Center, about 17 miles southeast of Rockford.
Police say that a westbound 18-wheeler struck a car when the driver of the latter vehicle failed to yield right of way. A third vehicle was also involved in the collision.
Medics transported the driver of the first passenger vehicle, since identified as 29-year-old Devin Palmer, to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Neither of the other two drivers were hurt in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
