CHICAGO, IL – A fatal four-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck shut down all northbound lanes of I-294 on Wednesday night, Yahoo! News reports.
According to the Illinois State Police, the collision occurred near Balmoral Avenue by O’Hare International Airport just after 7:15 pm. All lanes of northbound I-294 were shut down until around 12:30 am Thursday morning.
The crash was declared fatal, but little else is known about the victim or victims at this time. We will update should more information become available.
