CHICAGO, IL – A woman was killed after colliding with a semi-truck on West Diversey Avenue early Monday morning, Fox 32 Chicago reports.
According to police, the accident occurred in the 3800 block of West Diversey Street around 1:30 am. Two women were traveling west in a black sedan when the driver lost control, struck a parked vehicle, and then veered into oncoming traffic.
The sedan struck the rear of an eastbound semi-truck, and the 31-year-old female passenger was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported. The accident remains under investigation.
