Woman, 85, dies after turning left, hitting log truck in Cordelle 

CORDELE, GA – A 85-year-old woman driving a mid-sized vehicle failed to yield as she tried to turn left on Highway 280 and collided with a log truck, leading to her death last Wednesday. 

This collision happened around 7:30 a.m. when the driver, later identified as Barbara Ann Bridges, had turned from the Stripling’s General Store, according to WALB

The Crisp County Coroner’s Office was the one to initially identify Bridges, stating she passed away around 8:30 a.m. and also said the truck driver was unharmed.
