FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Authorities responded to a rollover crash involving a truck Monday evening on Georgia State Highway 53 near west Gainseville, according to accessWDUN.
The accident happened near Chestatee Heights Road, in an area west of Bolling Bridge. It was first reported by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office at around 6:45 p.m.
Although the cause of the wreck has not been disclosed, officials arrived on the scene to find the truck, which had been carrying bricks, flipped upside-down in a ditch off the roadway.
No injuries were reported following the incident, and no other vehicles appear to have been impacted.
A section of the highway was shut down for about an hour as crews tended to the scene.
