Teen driver killed in car vs semi crash at Muscogee County intersection

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GA — A 19-year-old Waverly Hall resident died last Tuesday, February 6, after a collision involving a semi-truck in Columbus, according to WTVM.

The accident occurred at the T intersection of Woodruff Farm Road and Corporate Ridge Parkway. First responders pronounced the victim deceased at Atlanta’s Grady Hospital at around 10:15 p.m.

As of this writing, no further information regarding the circumstances of the wreck has been made available. It’s unclear which driver was at fault and whether any charges are expected to be filed.
