SUV, big rig collision in Eastanollee sends 1 to hospital 

EASTANOLLEE, GA – One person was sent to a hospital following a collision between an SUV and a big rig at Highway 17 and Historic Highway 17 Wednesday.

According to Now Habersham, Georgia State Patrol, EMS crews, and Stephens County deputies pulled up to the accident scene after 1 p.m. After arriving, they closed the southbound lanes for the clean-up process and investigation.

Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the crash and have not released other information, including the severity of injuries that the person sustained.
