ACWORTH, GA – Police were summoned to the scene of a commercial truck crash at the intersection of northbound Mars Hill Road and Cobb Parkway Tuesday.
Cobb County Department of Transportation crews first announced the collision at 8:21 a.m. and said the crash was initially blocking the left-turn lane and was cleared just before 8:45 a.m.

Officials did not disclose the events leading up to the crash. No significant damage appeared to have been done to the truck, and no serious injuries were reported.
