RICHMOND HILL, GA – Law enforcement and fire crews had to shut down I-95 South along exit 87 on Wednesday due to a semi-truck rollover collision.
The impact of the crash caused the truck to land on its side and blocked several lanes as a result, according to WTOC. Based on the Georgia Department of Transportation’s traffic camera footage, officials shut down all traffic in the southbound direction, but kept at least one northbound lane open to accommodate the flow of traffic.
At the time of the reporting, authorities anticipated that the crash would be cleared by 6:30 p.m. All north and southbound lanes have reopened.
As of this writing, police/deputies have not confirmed how the collision unfolded or whether anyone was injured.
