ALBANY, GA – A log truck driver was rushed to the hospital after a rear-end collision involving another log truck in Albany on Thursday morning.
According to WALB, a long truck was stopped in the middle lane of E. Oglethorpe Boulevard at about 9:30 a.m. when it was rear-ended by a second log truck.
The impact caused logs from the first truck to crash though the cab of the second, trapping the driver inside. The 58-year-old man was extricated and transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
It is unclear whether the other driver involved was hurt in the crash.
