CLAYTON CO., GA – A five-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer in south Atlanta Saturday afternoon claimed the life of one driver and left eight others with injuries.
According to a report by 11 Alive, the tractor-trailer was disabled on the side of the interstate when it was rear-ended by an SUV.
Six additional vehicles then became involved in the crash; although, it is unclear to what extent.
The SUV’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Eight additional victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
