4 hospitalized after fire truck overturns on S Harding St in Albany

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA — Four firefighters were sent to a hospital last Friday afternoon, February 2, after their fire truck overturned near an Albany intersection, according to WALB News 10.

Authorities said a surveillance camera at the corner of South Harding Street and West Oglethorpe Avenue captured the rollover, which left the truck with its wheels up.

Preliminary details indicate four firefighters were traveling in the truck at the time the vehicle overturned. No other vehicles appear to have been involved.

While no major injuries were reported, all four victims were transported to an area hospital to be evaluated.

An investigation into the circumstances of the wreck remains ongoing.
