DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A wreck involving a propane gas truck Thursday morning near northeast Atlanta left at least three people injured, according to WSB-TV.
The accident impacted northbound Interstate 85 approaching the exit to Pleasantdale Road. It was first reported by Triple Team Traffic at about 5:50 a.m.
While no specifics have been provided, DeKalb County officials confirmed a truck carrying propane gas was involved, and a hazmat team was called to the scene to contain a resulting leak.
At least three people were reported hurt, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately clear.
Motorists were advised to take Buford Highway or Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to avoid the scene.
