SHAWNEE, GA – A log truck rolled over after colliding with a Toyota on Tuesday night, injuring two people, WTOC revealed.
This collision happened at the Georgia 21 and Shawnee Road junction. The log truck driver was spared from injuries, while the Toyota driver was transported via an ambulance to Memorial Hospital.
First responders said they treated the Toyota passenger for minor injuries at the scene, confirming they did not need to be taken to a hospital.
As shown in the source’s photo, the log truck completely overturned on its side and log trucks were scattered all over the road. As such, crews shut down both north and southbound to clear the scene before later reopening all lanes.
The exact cause of this crash has yet to be confirmed.
