PENSACOLA, FL – A chain-reaction crash happened when one semi-truck driver rear-ended another semi, leading the second truck to hit the back of a sedan, injuring a 64-year-old Friday.
This collision happened after 5:30 p.m. on I-10 East adjacent to milepost 8, WEAR TV News Channel 3 reported.
The sedan occupant, the 64-year-old woman, was issued a trauma alert and was hospitalized, while the two semi-truck drivers were unscathed.
Florida Highway Patrol closed one eastbound lane for the scene clearance and investigation process.
