Update: Man, 60, killed in semi-collision near Disney World 

ORLANDO, FL – Florida Highway Patrol confirmed on Tuesday that it was a 60-year-old man who died after he crashed his semi-truck near Disney World Monday. 

To recap, this solo-truck collision happened after 8 p.m. at the I-4 off-ramp, connecting to State Road 536. New details revealed from WESH indicate that for reasons unclear, the driver went off the road, leading him to collide with a tree line. 

Upon arrival, first responders rushed him to Advent Health Celebration Hospital, where he died. 

Troopers did put lane closures into effect, but those have since been lifted.
