BROWARD COUNTY, FL — A rollover crash involving an 18-wheeler caused significant delays Friday afternoon on a Florida’s Turnpike connector ramp in Miramar, reports Local 10.
The accident impacted the northbound Florida’s Turnpike offramp toward University Drive. It was first reported by Local 10 shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Officials have not said what caused the big rig to roll onto its side, but footage captured at the scene shows the contents of its trailer strewn over a span of the roadway, creating a traffic backup.
No major injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.
