NEAR OSPREY, FL – A 56-year-old man driving an SUV had to go to the hospital for serious injuries after colliding with a stationary semi-truck trailer on I-75 Wednesday.
This crash happened after 7:30 a.m. on I-75 South near mile marker 200 adjacent to Oscar Scherer State Park, according to Herald-Tribune.
Florida Highway Patrol confirmed the semi-truck driver was unharmed. At this time, troopers did not provide an update on the 56-year-old man’s (from Sarasota) condition and did not release details regarding the events leading up to this collision.
