Semi overturns on U.S. 27 in Leesburg, leading to closures

LEESBURG, FL – A semi-truck crashed and overturned on U.S. 27, leading Florida Department of Transportation to shut down several southbound lanes Friday.

The semi-truck rollover collision happened before 5:30 a.m., WESH reports. Transportation crews redirected traffic toward Florida’s Turnpike.
